Deputy Kelly Hammonds has been a Deputy Sheriff with the Warren County Sheriff's Office since 1996. He has had various positions while at the Warren County Sheriff's Office, these include Corrections Officer, Field Training Officer, Evidence Technician, Detective and most recently a Canine Handler.
Deputy Kelly Hammonds graduated from Butler Tech Police Academy, He has completed multiple schools to include, Drug Recognition and Identification, Drug Interdiction, Hidden Compartments, and Search and Seizure Laws.
With Vader, Deputy Kelly Hammonds patrols the interstates and roads of Warren County; completes random drug sweeps of local schools, hotels, motels, and truck stops looking for drug activity. Also, Deputy Kelly Hammonds uses Vader as a patrol canine to track suspects or missing persons. He also assists units by using Vader to do building searches, area searches, and assists units when doing arrest warrants.
