Luna started her career with The Sheriff’s Office in September 2017. Luna’s name means “Roman goddess personifying the moon” and since she primarily work overnight we thought this name was perfect!

Luna is trained to detect illegal narcotic odors including Heroin, Cocaine, Marijauna, Methamphetamine, and their deratives.

Luna’s mission is simple, she actively patrols the correctional facility to find and eliminate any drugs that have been brought into or are attempting to be brought into the facility.
