The Warren County Drug Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional unit specializing in drug enforcement. The drug task force provides services to the citizens of Warren County and the City of Wilmington (Clinton County.) These services include the investigation of those involved in drug trafficking, the illegal diversion of prescription drugs, providing drug related education to law enforcement, and educating the general public on both licit and illicit drug abuse.

The Warren County Drug Task Force is also the location for the Southwestern Ohio High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA.) HIDTA represents a joint cooperation of local, state and federal law enforcement to combat high-level drug trafficking and money laundering organizations throughout the United States. The drug task force includes several specialized units to include a full-time uniform interdiction unit/K9 team with personnel from the Warren County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a DEA trained Clandestine Laboratory Response Team, and a drug diversion and Financial Crimes Unit.

The drug task force/HIDTA office consists of twenty full time personnel that in addition to the Warren County Sheriff's Office and other local law enforcement agencies includes members from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation (BCI), the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Ohio State Highway Patrol and an intelligence analyst from the Ohio National Guard's Counter Drug program.
